The Tone panel controls the sound character of the piano keyboard and scale playback. Tap the wave icon in the top right corner of any page to open it.
Presets
- Piano โ classic acoustic piano tone with natural decay
- E.Piano โ electric piano with gentle warmth
- Cosmic โ spacious evolving pad with modulation
- Synth โ bright synthesiser lead tone
- Organ โ sustained organ with harmonics that hold
- Flute โ soft breathy flute-like tone
- Sax โ reedy saxophone character
- Harpsi โ harpsichord with sharp attack and quick decay
Parameters
- Wave โ morphs from warm triangle to bright sawtooth
- Detune โ chorus effect by layering a second detuned voice
- Modulation โ vibrato depth combined with reverb
- Vibrato Rate โ speed of the vibrato LFO in Hz
- Attack โ how quickly the note reaches full volume
- Decay โ how long the note rings after the initial peak
- Sustain โ 0 = piano-style, 1 = organ-style (holds indefinitely)
- Filter Q โ resonance; higher values add a wailing quality
- Stereo Width โ spreads sound across the stereo field
Test Note
The Test button plays a C4 note so you can hear your changes in real time without leaving the panel.
Restore Defaults
Resets all parameters back to the default Piano preset.
For a realistic piano sound, try the Piano preset then reduce Stereo Width slightly if you prefer a more centred sound.
